AMTS to run ‘conductor-less’ buses on two routes on experimental basis for two months
The Amdavad Municipal Transport Services (AMTS) decided to run ‘conductor-less’ buses on two of its routes in the city on the experiment basis. And if the experiment succeeds then it might be replicated on the other routes also.

Bill proposing 50 per cent management quota seats in professional courses passed in the State assembly
The State Assembly recently passed a Bill that makes provision to allow 50 per cent management quota seats instead of 25 per cent presently in professional course such as MBA, MCA, engineering, architect and pharma. The Bill also makes a way for private educational institutes and private universities to increase fees in limit of maximum 5 per cent once in a 3 year fee-block, without seeking FRC (Fee regulation Committee) nod.
