- હિન્દ મહાસાગર ક્ષેત્રમાં ભારતની તાકાતનું પ્રદર્શન: મધ દરિયા ચાંચિયાઓ સામે નૌસેનાનું સફળ રેસ્ક્યુ ઓપરેશન
નવી દિલ્હી, 3 નવેમ્બર, 2026 – Defence Minister congratulates the Navy મધ દરિયે વેપારી જહાજોને લૂંટી લેતા સશસ્ત્ર ચાંચિયાઓને ઝબ્બે કરવામાં ભારતીય નૌસેનાને વધુ એક સફળતા મળી છે. ભારતીય દળોની આ સફળતા બદલ રક્ષામંત્રી રાજનાથ સિંહે અભિનંદન પાઠવ્યા છે. શ્રી રાજનાથ સિંહે તેમના સોશિયલ મીડિયા હેન્ડલ એક્સ ઉપર આ ઓપરેશનની તસવીરો અને વીડિયો શેર કરીને નૌસેનાની પ્રશંસા કરી છે.
રક્ષામંત્રીએ કહ્યું કે, અરેબિયન સમુદ્રમાં મુંબઈથી ૩૦૦૦ કિલોમીટરથી વધુ દૂર ચાંચિયાઓ (પાઇરેટ્સ) દ્વારા હાઇજેક કરવામાં આવેલી ફિશિંગ વેસલ ‘અઝિની’ ના તમામ ૨૦ ક્રૂ મેમ્બર્સને સુરક્ષિત બચાવી લેવા માટે ૦૨ નવેમ્બર ૨૦૨૬ ના રોજ ૪૮ કલાક સુધી સુનિયોજિત અને સંકલિત ઓપરેશન સફળતાપૂર્વક પાર પાડવા બદલ ભારતીય નૌસેનાને મારા અભિનંદન.
ભારતીય વાયુસેનાના સમયસરના સહયોગ સાથે, ભારે સશસ્ત્ર ચાંચિયાઓ પાસેથી ક્રૂ અને જહાજની ઝડપી ભાળ મેળવીને તેને રોકવા તથા હેમખેમ મુક્ત કરાવવાની આ કામગીરી ભારતીય નૌસેનાની ઉચ્ચ ઓપરેશનલ સજ્જતા અને સમગ્ર ક્ષેત્રમાં દરિયાઈ જોખમો સામે નિર્ણાયક રીતે પ્રતિસાદ આપવાની ક્ષમતાને ઉત્તમ રીતે દર્શાવે છે.
My congratulations to #Indian Navy for successfully executing a meticulously coordinated 48-hour operation to rescue all 20 crew members of the pirated fishing vessel, Azini, more than 3000 km from Mumbai in the Arabian Sea, on 02 Nov 26.
The swift localisation, interception and safe release of the crew and vessel from significantly-armed pirates, with timely support from the Indian Air Force, speak well of the Indian Navy’s high operational readiness and ability to respond decisively to maritime threats across the region.
Our brave personnel have once again demonstrated India’s ability, intent and resolve to safeguard lives, uphold maritime security and ensure stability across the Indian Ocean Region.
India continues to stand resolute in ensuring SAFE SEAS and a free, open and secure Indian Ocean Region.

ભારત ‘સુરક્ષિત સમુદ્ર’ (SAFE SEAS) તેમજ મુક્ત, ખુલ્લા અને સુરક્ષિત હિન્દ મહાસાગર ક્ષેત્રને સુનિશ્ચિત કરવા માટે મક્કમતાપૂર્વક આગળ વધી રહ્યું છે.
